Who We Need

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced veteran with welding experience to join our client’s thriving cotton farm in Warren, NSW. Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic veteran to join their team and assist in the ongoing maintenance and fabrication of parts for this busy farm. In this role, you will be able to utilise your previous military and welding experience, while gaining further agricultural skills and knowledge.

Our client operates world-class farming, marketing and processing enterprises across different sites in NSW, Australia. As an experienced company with almost 55 years of service to Australian agriculture, they maintain a strong reputation as a world-class supplier of cotton, grain and related processing, marketing and shipping services to both domestic and international customers.

Job Description

The role will require you to fabricate, repair and modify agricultural machinery and equipment. This may include duties such as repairing a broken harvester, constructing steel frames, or modifying a plough. As a welder you must strive to prevent break-downs, minimise production losses and promote mechanical efficiency.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate a high level of skill in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding. You must be committed have a strong work ethic and be committed to advancing your agricultural career. Your ability to show initiative, generate ideas, and work within a team environment will see you succeed in this role.
