Your Employer
Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory. Proudly representing major agribusiness, large primary producers, rural operators and local farmers – we are more than a recruitment agency. Founded on our firsthand knowledge of the land and dedicated to the ongoing success of our client’s businesses and our candidate’s careers, you can rely on us for expertise, advice and support.
Job Description
The Twelve Month Harvest Trail is an initiative of the Agri Veterans Program, developed to support our ex-servicemen and women as they navigate the period between deployment and civilian employment. Completing the program provides veterans with an excellent opportunity to decide whether a life on the land could be their future career path.
You’ll travel the country working on different farms and taking part in some of Australia’s most exciting and productive harvests. From Dimbulah in Far North Queensland to Mildura in Victoria, you’ll use your existing knowledge and learn new skills as you join the teams harvesting mangoes, cotton, almonds and grain.
Over twelve months, successful ex-Defence candidates will have the opportunity to sample the diverse career opportunities offered by Australia’s vital agricultural sector.
Your Skills & Experience
The skills and experience gained in the Australian Defence Force are highly sought after in the agriculture industry, and the Agri Veterans Program aims to match those skills with the many stable and rewarding employment opportunities this thriving sector has to offer.
